Groups and Parties

Grand Junction Climbing Center parties are challenging, thrilling, and tons of fun - which is why kids and adults love them. Whether it’s a birthday party, scouting club, church group, or any type of group kids love getting together to climb. All kids thrive on the experience of reaching the top. Each two hour session is filled with climbing and activities such as Capture the Flag, Wall Tag and Blindfolded Climbing. NOTE: Everyone who wants climb at GJCC needs to sign a waiver. Minors need to have the waiver signed be their parents. Waivers are available at the gym, or you can download and print the waiver from our Waiver page.                       Prices $14 per climber After hours parties are available for additional $75 A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date. GJCC staff will work with any ideas that you have for adding to the event.

Party Packages 1. Parents belay the kids: our staff will teach the adults the essentials of belay and rope management. Required ratio is one adult per every four kids. Kids 12 and over can belay each other. 2. GJCC belays the kids: we do all the work; parents can sit back and relax. Advanced head count and an additional fee of $35 per instructor are required. Required ratio is one instructor per every five kids.   Packages include: Two hours access to climbing gym and party room Beginner instruction Rental equipment (harness, belay device) Full use of the party room- tables, chairs, refrigerator, freezer, microwave Climbing games
